5th ANNUAL BREAKERS AWARD NIGHT RECAP

It was standing room only at the Traux Theater this past Wednesday, as the Breakers players and parents celebrated another wonderful season.
With over 500 people present in the Theater, the Club took time to recognize all the players that took part in another highly successful season for our Club.

Division 4 Boys All Star team losing finalists at the Poway Country Shoot Out
 Our 2008 Division 4 boys All Star team, coached by Anthony Benvenuto, played in the recent Poway Country Shoot Out. It was the first tournament for the majority of these boys and they played awesome soccer in reaching the final.

Dave Shelton Cup 08 - Ten Finalists and 5 Champions, what a great weekend of Breakers soccer!
 Whew .......what a "HOT" weekend of Breakers soccer we just experienced in Escondido!!!! As you know, the majority of our teams were taking part this past weekend in the Dave Shelton Memorial Soccer Tournament, out in sunny Escondido. All I can say is that I was excited, and humbled, to be part of this awesome Breakers family we have.

2008 ODP Camp in Oceanside Comes to a Close
 The 2008 ODP Camp held in Oceanside at MLK Park this past week has now come to a close.
Nearly 150 kids were present from all over North County looking to get some of the top training found in Southern Calfornia.

Breakers Girls attend SD United (Women's Pro Team) Season Finale
 Many Oceanside Breakers girls teams ranging from GU8, GU9, GU10, GU11, GU12, GU14 were present this past weekend at Valhalla Stadium for SD United's season finale.
The game was very exciting and provided plenty of nail bitting situations..
