2009-2010 Competitive Soccer Volunteer of the Year

 The Soccer Club of Oceanside is proud to announce that at it's recent Annual Award Night Presentation, the 2009-10 Competitive Soccer Volunteer of the Year Trophy was awarded to Becky Hay.
Becky is a much deserving recipient of this prestigious award. This past season Becky was instrumental in leading our fund raising campaigns to help players with their fees. She single handedly created and ran our very successful "Let's Dine Out" monthly fundraisers, which were held at local restaurants within Oceanside, as a way of helping both our players and the local business owners.
In addition, she ran internal fundraisers specifically targeted for our players who needed fee assistance.
We would also like to extend thanks to her husband, Pete, for his patience and understanding as the Club took up more and more of Becky's time.
Becky's tireless efforts on behalf of the kids and the Club is amazing to witness. She has recently taken on more duties within the Club and this award was but a small token of the Club's appreciation.
